Job Description
As a Host/Hostess you will work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, environment to deliver the best dining experience to our guests by:

Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner

Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion

Utilizes reservation system and answers phones

Handles all sales of gift cards and to-go orders
-
Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately setting guest expectations

Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the front task

Be ready and willing to assist coworkers by carrying drinks from the bar or clearing/setting tables

Perform side work before and after every shift

Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

Minimum of 1 year of fine dining restaurant experince preferred

Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner

Possess basic math skills, having the ability to handle money and operate a POS system

Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions and stand for up to 6 hours

Must be able to carry a tray and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English
